Stroke School

Nu Wave Stroke School 2015-16

Stroke School bridges the gap between swim lessons and competitive swimming. Stroke School picks up where lessons end - teaching not only safety skills, body alignment, and freestyle skills. We focus on improving each swimmer's stroke technique and seek to introduce all four competitive strokes.

Under the guidance of a professional coach, students learn and develop the four competitive strokes, racing starts, and turns. All skills necessary to swim FAST at a competitive level and summer league level will be emphasized. As the session progresses, swimmers will be evaluated as to their potential to swim with the Nu Wave Swim Club.

Open to swimmers ages 5 & over who can willingly swim 15 yards unassisted. We reserve the right to refund your registration fees if your swimmer does not meet the minimum swim requirement.
